Simple Fact: This represents over fifty years and greater than 10,000 cases.
Our surgeon routinely endarterectomized every graft on a CABG.
This meant 180 minutes bypass was a “quick” case.
Routinely patients were extubated prior to leaving the OR. That cannot occur when organs are failing.
